Dr. Elizabeth’s Disaster.

How did I get myself in this mess? I did not want this to happen! How come it ended this way?
Oh hi! Sorry let me start at the beginning. My name is Elizabeth, I am 26-years-old and I’m a scientist. No, I do not look like the stereotype of a scientist--I do not have white hair nor does my hair flare out like I’ve been electrocuted; I am not a man as you probably figured out by my name. I’m a short--like border-line hobbit height of Tolkien’s world.
Now that you somewhat have an idea of how I look let me explain how I got in this mess that I am in.
You see one day while I was working, I made a huge discovery. This discovery could change everything we know about humankind. I’m talking huge here. Not some dinky cure or vaccine for some body crushing disease; nor a missing link in the process of our species' evolution. No, siree. I discovered how to... TIME TRAVEL! WHAHAHA!
One day while I was in my secret evil lab I discoveried how to time travel! Yes it’s in the basement. Do you really have to ruin my fun by making me state where my secret evil lab is! Anyway I was working on this time travel theorem, when I finally figured out where my mistake was. See this is not my first time trying to time travel and well the times before these they where failures, but now I have figured out where my mistake was! WHAHAHA! Though I’d already have figure out how to time travel if it wasn’t for Mr. Fluffy! Yes I’m talking about you Mr. Fluffy. Mr. Fluffy is my fluffy white kitten; he helps me in all my experiments. Though when he tried to help me with my time traveling device he “accidently” spilled water on it!
Now that I’ve figured out how to time travel, I’m going to use my time traveler so I can stop Shanne from asking Jared out on a date. WHAHAHA! Okay so that’s not the only reason I want to use it. I also want to use it because when I talked to him I kind of came off as a geek, nerd, and shy weirdo person.
Oh you don’t know who Jared is. Here let me tell you about Jared, he’s an amazing, handsome, charming, and just plain perfect! He’s the perfect example of how a gentleman should be! He’s about 5’10” and he has really amazing curly black hair. He also has big dreamy brown eyes. *sigh* Okay enough about that or I’ll really embarrass myself.
I actually talked to him at the Laundromat that we both go to every Tuesday and Thursday. He asked me if I’d watch his laundry while he real quickly goes and gets his car from the car shop.
I said “Sure, I’ll watch your laundry. After all it’s not like it’s going to suddenly grow legs and start walking away.” He just said okay, thanks!
Once he came back we kinda started talking. I was so nervous so I know I sound really nerdy geeky and weird. I always seem to sound that way when I’m nervous.
All of a sudden Shanne came in. Shanne is the perfect blonde model type, you know the cheerleader, who only cares about her looks. She is tall just a little bit shorter then Jared; she’s skinny, and she can just about fit any kind of clothing and make it look wonderful. She’s the kind of girl every guy dreams of.
As soon as she came in she started hitting on Jared! MY Jared!!! How dare she!!! But just wait it gets worse! She asked him out on a date!!! And he said yes!!! How dare she ask MY Jared out on a date!!!!!!
Consequently I’m going to time travel and stop this from happening! WHAHAHA! Come a long Mr. Fluffy I’ll need your help. As soon as I push this button we will time travel to yesterday to stop Shanne!!! WHAHAHA! *click*
Wow this time traveling stuff makes you a dizzy. Okay off to the Laundromat to stop Shanne!! WHAHAHA! Let’s see what can I do to stop her from coming to the Laundromat? What’s that Mr. Fluffy? You think I should wreck the washing machine that she used that was right next to Jared. Okay it sounds like a good enough idea. Let’s hurry up it’s almost time for Jared to come to the Laundromat. Whew, we got here just in time.
Okay come on Mr. Fluffly help me unplug this washing machine. Darn it! I can’t reach it! Mr. Fluffy can you unplug it without electrocuting yourself? You can! That’s great! Hurry Mr. Fluffy! He’s coming!!!
Jared again asked me if I’d watch his laundry while he real quickly goes and gets his car from the car shop. This time I just said “sure” this time so I wouldn’t embarress myself. As soon as Shanne came in the washing machine next to Jared’s didn’t work. YES!! WHAHAHA!!
When Jared came in, he said “thanks for watching my laundry.” I said “no problem. So how are you?” But then he noticed Shanne’s washing machine wasn’t working, so he offered to see if he could help her.
Dangit! He figured out it was just unplugged!! Now Shanne’s going on and on about how smart he is to have figured that out, and thanking him. Well I guess that’s better then her asking him out on a date.
Oh no she didn’t’!!! She did!!!!!!! She just asked him out on a date, and he said yes. Drats! This is not supposed to happen!!!!
Oh well while they ignore me, I’ve got an idea that should make her think twice about stealing my guy!! WHAHAHA!!! I’ll just put this cupcake that will explode as soon as she opens the dryer! WHAHAHA!!!! Okay it’s all set up now it’s just time to wait for her to open the dryer!! This should be a good laugh!
Oh no!!! NO!!!! Jared opened the dryer to help Shanne with her laundry!!! The cupcake exploded in his face!!! NO!!! Now Shanne is pointing at me saying I used that dryer not too long ago.
Oh no he’s walking toward me! “Did you put that cupcake in that dryer? Is this so joke? If it’s a joke I do not like it! You seemed like such a nice person, but to think you did this!” That’s what Jared said to me, and then he stomped away with Shanne.
(P.S. I'm hoping to write more to this story like maybe 2 different endings to it, but we'll see when that happens =D)
The First Date

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lizzy and a boy named Joshua. They both went to the same high school in a Minnesota small town.
One fate driven and special day, Joshua bumped into Lizzy during the long line at lunch. He stumbled to say his apologize but when he looked up, he was lost in her eyes. After both tongue tied teens caught there breathes, Joshua asked Lizzy out on a date. Lizzy breathlessly said yes.
However a horrible tragedy struck Joshua the morning of the big day. He had horrible stomach cramps. When he whined to his mother, she shook her head and said all-knowingly that he needed fiber.
As soon as Joshua was better from his stomach cramps, he asked Lizzy out on a movie date. Lizzy breathlessly said yes, so on Saturday Lizzy meet up with Joshua at the mall. There was a new scary movie that they both wanted to see, so that's the movie they decided on going to.
Lizzy went to the mall in a daze and could not wait until she'd see Joshua. When she met up with her Joshua they had some time to waste. They began walking around the mall lost in each other's eyes.
Lizzy began talking to Joshua asking him how his day was, what's new with him and so on and so on. Joshua kept answering in the simplest answers he could give her, because he was lost in her eyes. Lizzy noticed how far way Joshua was staying away from her, for he was standing away like she'd bite him if he got to close. Lizzy began to wonder if she'd be lost forever in the crowd.
While being lost in Joshua's eyes she began to think "He's acting like I'm a snake that's about to bite" to that she had to hide a laugh.
By the time they realized the movie would be starting soon they began to head toward the movie theater. When they got there they found out that the movie had already begun, but the lady told them it would start again in a few minutes, so they decided to wait.
While they were waiting Lizzy once again tried to talk to Joshua and move closer to him. He once again he backed away from her like if he got to close he'd over step his welcome or like she'd bite him. She gave up on talking to him, so she decided she'd get lost in his big beautiful brown eyes. While she was lost in his big beautiful brown eyes she began to think "He's acting like I bite" she had to keep hiding a laugh that wanted to come out.
While they were lost in each other's eyes they realized that the movie was going to start soon, so they went to get the tickets. Once they got their tickets Joshua asked Lizzy if she'd like something to drink or eat while they were in the movie. Lizzy said she'd like a drink. They headed toward the line, while standing in line they got lost in each other's eyes and Lizzy was able to actually able stand close to Joshua. Lizzy just than realized how tall he was to her, he was about a foot taller than her. When it was finally their turn to get something they got a Dr.Pepper.
Once they enter the room they find out that the movie had already started, so they had to find a spot. Lizzy because she was short was jumping up to see if she could find them a spot, and they finally did find a spot way at the bottom. Lizzy noticed how Joshua sat as far away from her in his seat, she tried really hard not to laugh at this. For she thought it was quite funny to see her date who should be used to her and yet so very nervous.
About half way through the movie Joshua seemed not to be as nervous. After a while Joshua held out his hand like he would like to hold hands, so she gave him her hand to hold. About three forth's way through the movie Joshua slowly pulled away his hand from Lizzy's and put his arm around her. Lizzy looked at him and then he leaned in to kiss her. When suddenly their pop explodes! Lizzy laughing as quietly as she can says "Well I guess I should not have jumped while holding the pop while we were looking for a spot." Once they had cleaned up as best as they can they went back to the movie. They go back to watching the scary movie. Josh leans in to try to kiss Lizzy again, but Lizzy suddenly jumps up at a really scary part. Which nocks Joshua over and he falls to the ground. She helps Joshua up and is about to apologize when he leans in and kisses her. She smiled at him and he whispered in her ear, "I love you." Then she whispered in his ear "I love you too." They watched the rest of the movie. Once it was done they decided to walk around the mall. After a while Lizzy had to go she said good bye to Joshua. The next day at school Joshua and Lizzy start talking about the date with their friends and their friends start laughing at the story of the date. And they lived happily ever after.
The Dangerous Date

They tried to get out of the way, but Lizzy accidentally got in the way. As soon as Joshua saw this he suddenly pushed himself in between Lizzy and the gang fight. Just as he did that a knife got him and he fell to the ground. Lizzy went down to where Joshua was, she asked him if he was okay. He said yes he was fine, though she knew differ. She slowly started to cry and said "please don't leave me Josh, please don't die. I love you and I need you hear with me." He said "I love you too" and then suddenly he closed his eyes. Lizzy sat there in a daze; she could not believe that her Josh was now dead and that he died to keep her safe. The end.
My Flood Myth by Sandra Cash
Three hundred years after humans were created by Luna, the humans angered Luna the Goddess of the Moon. Luna was enraged with the humans because they had become spiteful creatures, acting like soul-less entities. The humans were murdering each other, cheating, stealing and destroying everything around them. They were also being disrespectful to the great goddess Luna.
The White-Haired Goddess Luna concluded that the humans need to be taught a lesson. She had sway over waters, thanks to the Water God being her uncle. These humans had a dirty soul so water would be the perfect cleanser.
Luna went to her uncle beneath the ocean, explaining how the humans were behaving. His eyes became cloudy and dark; a storm seemed to be brewing inside them. He told his favorite niece that the humans' behavior was unacceptable and that they need to be destroyed.
The Soft-Eyed Goddess Luna was unable to persuade her uncle to hold back the great disaster he was planning. Luna knew she would have to warn the humans. She found the one human family that still honored her.
Luna told Juan to build an ark, and to take one male and one female of every animal. Juan listened to Luna and thanked her for warning him about the flood. As Juan built this ark the people in his town laughed at him and told him he was idiotic for building an ark, it would never rain that much. Juan told them that Luna the great Goddess of the Moon warned him about a flood and when they didn't listen to him, he just disregarded them.
Once the ark was built Luna the great Goddess of the Moon told Juan tomorrow he would see all the animals coming to his ark and he was to lead them into the ark. Once he finished that he would bring his family, then once his family was safe Luna's uncle would send the flood. Juan did everything just as Luna said to. Just like Luna said as soon as Juan, his family and the animals where all in the ark it began to pour. It rained for one hundred days. Luna told Juan that tomorrow the rain would stop, but he would have to wait a week for all the water to drain. After a week that water was gone just like the great Goddess of the Moon said it would be.
Once Juan and all his family got out of the ark they thanked the White-Haired Goddess Luna for keeping them safe and for saving them. Juan and his family repopulated the world, because White-Haired Goddess Luna blessed them. The great Goddess of the Moon blessed Juan and his family because they never forgot her, and they were not spiteful and acting like soul-less entities as sin the humans her uncle had killed with the flood.

La mosca seimpre mintió. Un día la mosca estaba con las amigas, cuando se encontró la araña. Despues de salir las amigas de mosca. La araña dijo "¿Por que seimpre mientes?" La mosca dijo "¡Yo no miento, nunca!" La araña dijo "¿Ves? ya mentiste. Cuando tú mientes yo voy a hacer una parte pequeña de mi tela, ¿ok? Si completo mi tela, yo te como." La mosea dijo "De acuerdo." La mosea nunca dijo la verdad, entonces la araña comió a la mosca. Porque la mosca se portó mal.

There once was a farmer, named Aadi. Aadi’s niece fell from a very rocky hill, which the sharp rocks pierced her. It pierced her so bad that you could see her intestines. The girl’s family decided that Aadi would be the best to take her to the doctor. So Aadi started on a long adventure to bring his niece to the doctor. Before he started on this long adventure he prayed to Vishnu for help and wisdom on this adventure. Off they went to go to the village’s first aid post in order to get her there they needed to ride in a very old canoe across a 20 mile lake. While Aadi is rowing the canoe suddenly starts leaking, so while he’s scary because it’s still 10 miles till they reach the land he starts praying to Vishnu to keep them safe. Once they got there Aadi thanked Vishnu for keeping them safe, and found out the doctor was not there. They could not find him anywhere they even asked the villagers and they had no idea as to where the doctor had gone. So Aadi bandage his niece as best as he could before he took her to the next closest doctor. In order to get to the next doctor they had to travel 15 hours by foot. Before he started on the 15 hour trip he prayed to Vishnu to keep them safe from all harms way. As he carried his niece he becomes tired because he does not have food or water, so he starts praying to Vishnu to give him the strength to go on. After he prayed his’ strength was renewed, but after 9 hours he was tired because of the very hot weather, no water for what seemed like forever, and no food to give him energy. So once again he prayed to Vishnu for strength, but Vishnu did not answer him as quick as the first time. So Aadi thought maybe Vishnu will give me some help up the trail. As Aadi is walking on he finds this hut and in the hut there is water and food. He talks to the family that lives there to ask if they will feed him and they say yes. As soon as he starts eating and drinking the family is suddenly gone. After he’s done he thanks Vishnu for the help. After that Aadi starts again on his journey, but as night falls he tries to get them to a place that will be safe to sleep. He tries to keep going so they can sleep away from this river that is the home of a lot of crocodiles, but because it is so dark and unwise to keep going on he stops here to spend the night. Before he falls asleep he prays to Vishnu for protection against the hungry crocodiles. Once they wake up they start back up on their journey to the Island that has the doctor. Aadi knows it’s 6 more hours till he will reach the doctor, but his niece has lost a lot of blood and does not look like she will make it in time. So he prays that his niece will be strong and will be able to make it. She makes it to the doctor and Aadi demanded that his niece get the best care possible, which she did and she only lived because of her uncle. After Aadi’s niece is in the doctor’s care he thanks Vishnu for all of his protection and for everything he has done for him and his niece while on their adventure. Once they returned home Aadi was rewarded for his bravery by the King. The King made Aadi his right hand guy.
