We Miss You

We miss you,

You did so much for us,

All of the students miss you,

How you would always ask how we were,

and how things were going for us,

Always smiling at us, loving us and caring about us.

Your cooking was amazing,

You were always ready to cook for us if we were not going home,

or for what ever reason.

I count myself lucky to have known you.

For you are gone now,

and now none of the freshman here

will ever get to know you like I did.

You were such a great example of a Godly woman. 

You showed it so well in all the love you gave to us.

Every time I came here with my mom you always

asked me how I was and how everything was going for me.

You showed me so much love and care. 

You even tried to teach me how to cook, 

and helped me use my Spanish.

You did so much for this College. 

For the students who won't get to meet you,

they will miss you even though they never met you.

Because they will hear all of the students who have met you,

tell them how wonderful you were, and how we miss you.

You loved all of the students, and for that we thank you! 

Even though we miss you,

We are yet happy for you.

For you are not suffering any more,

and you are with God now.
